  1. Past hour
  2. Aye. The story of their decline was funny but they are officially shit now so let’s just move on. Having an entire pundit team made up of Reds (either ex players or scouse ex players mocking them) means it will most likely not go away until they are good again.
  3. STILL devoting hours of air time to a shit football team continuing to be shit. These fuckers must be the only ones still surprised by them
  4. I hate these media darling cunts. Expect a loss with Alan Smith pumping his cock like Arnie in an action movie.
  5. I guess they’ve pissed off the wrong people.
  6. Aye I have ZERO faith in Fulham pulling out results at this stage of the season. Them and Brighton have been playing hot potato with 8th spot for weeks now.
  7. That’s assuming they don’t want him. I think he’s played every game under the new manager
  8. Anyone remember this btw: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/I'm_with_Busey So bad it was good.
  9. I didn't look up their position to be honest. No mark club with no ambition. There's a chance nobody at the club even knows what place they're in. They'd be assuming about 12th based on the lack of vibes.
  10. I found this pretty interesting. Some nice praise for our tactics too.
  11. Fulham shouldn't be on the beach, they're 8th and that will likely get Europe (even 9th might).
  12. I'm sure they're just working on a piece. We should wait and see.
  13. The BBC and The Guardian seem to have forgotten to mention that this has tainted Liverpool’s season
  14. Today
  15. Inter lost 0-1. Napoli won 2-0 (both goals by McTominay) to move 3 points clear at the top with just 4 games remaining.
  16. The rabbits have paid the price for a week or so of escaping my cat. Came down this morning and there was a dead rabbit with its head bitten off on the kitchen floor. Its head lay a foot or so away. Fucking. Gross.
  17. Yep. Good points. I don't disagree with anything here. I was more so addressing the idea a few pages back that we'll need to win the rest of our games. Not only is that very unlikely to be true in general. It's actually pretty unlikely to be true even after this weekend since the teams around us are not exactly impervious to dropping points. Taking that into consideration, I did say I think City are favourites against Wolves. It is true that Wolves haven't beaten anyone of particular note. But you can only beat who is in front of you and I think we very often see teams in good form who "haven't beaten anyone important" then play someone "important" and beat them too. Confidence cannot be underestimated imo. It happened to us with Bournemouth earlier in the season from memory. They hadn't beaten anyone significant. We drew confidence from that here on the forum with the usual sausage waving culprits. Probably myself included. And then they fuckin hammered us. (Although I could be misremembering and can't be arsed to look it up. So I recommend nobody else look it up either. ) Anyway, as I said, I'm still backing City to win, but it isn't a fait accompli in my mind. None of our competitors for CL football are untouchable, including City (although they are certainly returning to form that can't be denied). Anyway, all things considered, I completely agree with the general prognosis. So I'm just being a pedant. Us and City are favourites now for 3rd and 4th. Chelsea and Forest competing for 5th in a basic competition to see who can tailspin their way out of the season with the best semblance of grace. And Villa are basically out of it short of a flawless run or Chelsea & Forest both collapsing completely to help them out.

  19. City seem to have got themselves back together somewhat, haven't lost in over a month, through to the cup final. I'm expecting them to go unbeaten to the end of the season now. Wolves are indeed the form team in the league but they have also played the 6 worst teams in the league one after another. Chelsea will lose to liverpool, they've also got us and forest in the run in all capable to taking points from one another but any loss in that run in is devastating for them. Forests run in is pretty easy but they've also been dropping off pretty hard and I wonder if its just got a bit beyond them by now. For my money it is Us and City in 3rd and 4th with Chelsea and Forest potentially having a play off on the final day of the season.

    Cooking

This is objectively wrong, equal parts or everything by weight. Plus salt. Gravy sounded nice but everyone in the uk disregards vinegar in their cooking, it elevates everything. Splash of red wine vinegar in that would blow you smelly socks off
  21. Just had a peek at the fixture list and I think we have a reasonably good round of games coming up too in terms of who our rivals are playing. City v Wolves City are much improved but Wolves are the form team in the league. That's a very tough game for City. I'd still pick City but it wouldn't be surprising to see Wolves get a result. City are still not the team they once were. Big chance for Wolves to prove a point about their recent form. Chelsea v Liverpool There's every chance Liverpool down tools now. It's undoubtedly the best time to play them all year. But Liverpool are streets ahead of the competition for a reason. They're class. And Chelsea are fuckin shit, especially so with Palmer's recent dip in form. Has one goal in 16 games or something I think. You'd think even a severely hungover Liverpool has a good chance against Chelsea. Crystal Palace v Forest Palace into a first FA Cup final since Pardew's dancing nonsense. Conversely Forest just knocked out. Could go either way. But hopefully Palace can carry their form into this match & catch Forest feeling a bit sorry for themselves. I'd lean towards that being the most likely scenario: Palace carrying their cup heroics into the next match home game. Villa v Fulham This is the outlier. Outside of playing a relegated team this is likely the easiest fixture in the PL at the moment. At home to a team on the beach for months now. Shit club derby. Battle of the terminally boring. Villa likely win, obviously, but the fact they lost at the weekend means they are on the verge of being out of the running for the CL anyway. One more bad result for them probably ends their chances.
  22. Watching motd2 and the “atmosphere” At Brighton is shocking, sounded like a pre season friendly
  23. CT aside, its a bit of a shit run in really.
  24. 2-0 us. That young Miggy replacement we loaned to Feyenoord last year to bag the winner.
