I went to that replay, as before living in London, with my mate Giy who supported Mansfield but came for a day our We got onto Exeter Station at 4pm asked at the ticket office what time the last train to London was and he pointed to the other platform and said that train pulling out over there, and you've missed it Oh well Got hammered on the pitch, stayed in the pub till they threw us out and we headed back to the station to try and find somewhere to sleep until the first train the next morning We were walking through the station car park and saw 3 blokes getting in a car and shouted at them jokingly any chance of a lift to London. Turns out they were Geordies and were indeed driving back to London Thus began the most terrifying journey of my life. The driver was pissed and kept falling asleep on the M4 so after an hour or so it was decided "Orty" a squaddie on leave for a couple of weeks would take the wheel. Its possible he'd never driven before but he was awake so what the hell. Cue an hour of driving at 90 mph swerving through traffic laughing his head off. A particular highlight was coming off the M4 elevated section as you hit London and going full speed round the Hogarth roundabout the wrong way On a brighter note we had gone from being stranded in Exeter, frozen with nowhere to go to be being dropped at our door 2 and a half hours later. Hysterical terrified and stone cold sober

Minteh is a certified grade A CU*T, that's all anyone needs to know, He'll find himself at West Ham or Wolves or the like after Brighton eventually settle in their natural lower mid table position of nothingness and can use his array of gestures to console himself while he watches us win more things.

I wish! Sadly I'm old enough to have had a swim in that lido on Tynemouth beach when I was a kid. BTW is Cullercoats still dead posh like it was when I lived there in the 60's? 😉

I'll doubtless be pissing meself on Sunday because of the importance of the game but I have confidence in the lads, at home. I think the game wont be as easy as past home fixtures against Chelsea have been. They're in good form and have pace on the wings, but it also means we'll have more space to attack in if they decide to take the game to us. I can see us edging it, hopefully. Not sure about Arsenal away, they've been shite recently in the league but we're not reliable away from home, even a point would be massive. The natural bedwetter in everyone expects at this point for rivals to get max points from their remaining games, it really shouldnt be that way as this league has shown time and again, hopefully still some unexpected dropped points for Chelsea and Forrest to come.

Odd request. KFC isn't a sports bar. The obvious Sports bar choice would be Shearers I'd think.

Well there you have it. It has been declared by the board elder and his much younger, sexier and smarter colleague that you all need to:

Sky did a graphic, which I think Andrew posted on here somewhere that showed since mid December we are either first or, at worst, second best on every metric they had. I second the honourable gentleman's chill the fuck out motion.

Recommend me a good restaurant in Newcastle

Taking a day trip with family to Newcastle in July, wee man didnt get a stadium tour. Any recommendations for kid friendly spots bar shite like KFC? -
The funniest outcome will be if Arsenal finish 3rd in a 2 horse race. Bottle It champions for how many years in a row?
-
not sure why you guys aren't including us in these result scenarios. we're not there yet
-
Lads we’ve lost one of our last eight matches. Chill the fuck out.

I don't really know why people are talking about Villa. If we get overtaken by Villa, we're finishing 7th.
-
villa v bournemouth and us v chelsea are massive games that will go a long way to deciding what happens next. if we beat chelsea and villa lose then villa are done and it's almost certain to be a shoot out between forest and chelsea on the final day for the remaining CL spot. we simply have to win on sunday. it's the most important league game of the season and for that reason i think we will. these players have shown this season they're up for the big games.

Inside 3 years he’s scored against every current PL club. There’s only two (Leeds and Luton) who he hasn’t scored against.
-
That would be a pretty solid run in during times gone past as well I think we'll get over the line in the end but I have this nagging concern that if we struggle against Chelsea then it'll energise Forest.
-
sorry about that. couldn't risk dropping points so i took my eldest daughter. she's only ever seen us win. wow fancy go to 2 games a season and only ever seeing your team win. wish i had that kind of record.

think you need to speak to your people at Wolves

Villa fans will be saying roughly the same about us. They've got Bournemouth, Tottenham and Man Utd. Now, Bournemouth are playing really well this year as we've found out to our cost, as have Arsenal (6pts), Man City (3pts & FA Cup) and Nottingham Forest (4pts). And Villa are midtable for points won on the road. Tottenham are shit, there's no getting away from it. Buuuuuuuut... No.. I've got nothing. 16th placed team, pre-Europa League final (you'd assume), at home, and it's Spurs? That's more of a home banker that's ever been banked at home by a Banker Homeboy. Manchester United however... Villa have 5 wins against Manchester United since 1995. Bogey team.

Exactly, we are going to end up having a better season than arsenal anyway. We won one of two cup competitions and we will both be in the champions league. If he goes to Chelsea then he’s a lunatic. None of the European heavy hitters need/want/can afford him, so any move this summer would be a sideways step.
