Didn’t the drummer from Housemartins go batshit insane and attack someone with an axe or something? Drummers eh?
-
I didn't express myself particularly well but I did actually mean Forest and Chelsea could be strong options for him along with Villa. I would imagine Champions League would be a must for them to be able to get him though whereas others may actually be better placed to sign him if they didn't make the top five. I do actually think Man U and Spurs still have more pull than they should have will the way sky have rammed their names down everyone's throats for years. The mess that they are they shouldn't be in the equation but I do think they are. Winning the Europa league and qualifying for the Champions League would absolutely be a game changer for either of them. I've been quite sympathetic to Bilbao for a few years since I spent a week between there and San Sebastian but I'm massively supporting them for the foreseeable.

I think they'll make efforts to sustain their Premier League status. A repeat of this season will be completely unexpected, but I think they'll follow it up with being top half or thereabouts. Depends what's important to Delap - being at a club which is challenging at the top end but his opportunities are few and far between, or becoming a mainstay figure in an established team and really putting himself on everyone's radar. Forest are within scope for him - and a far better option for him than Spurs or Man Utd.
-
Forest need to show that they can sustain some success before they can be in this conversation imo. Great season but they finished 17th last season and a lot tipped them to go down this time round. No one will be expecting a repeat of this run next season.

Sorry must be going blind deleted

... Jesus Christ @Rosco look a few posts earlier.

I think we should let Dougle remember stuff more often, it's a wild ride.
-
I wouldn't rule out Forest either. Chris Wood is well into his 30s now and I don't think Awoniyi is all that. Can see them going for another striker.

a peaceful protest i might add. we're not scousers after all. i think a lot of this is down to PSR, etc forcing clubs to squeeze every penny out of every source. i looked at going to wembley this weekend, but to take my daughter it was going to cost over £200 for rubbish seats at a semi final. not even a final. i'm one of the many city fans in the fortunate position of having been to wembley a crazy number of times in the last 10 years. so, right or wrong, i've decided to watch it on tv instead, hopefully one day you guys will suffer wembley burnout too (just not at out expense)

Ok this thing is phenomenal. It can get down to 2 watt RMS using low power and single ended mode which is plenty for my office and cranked its very loud in that room. Shit it sounds good though, and it so far plays really nicely with my pedalboard which hasn't been the case with my Katana for a while. Gain 1 reacts really well to rolling back the volume on my guitar and splitting pickups gives a surprisingly sparkly clean, that then becomes a really smooth overdrive if I put on the Nux Steel Singer. adding in the Keeley Caverns and/or Astral Destiny gets into really nice sustaining ambient territory. Gain 2 is full metal, sounds amazing just on its own and then gets super tight modern metal with the precision drive in front of it. Victory do indeed make some right good amps, definitely more my thing than my Sheriff was (which was also brilliant tbf)

This, entirely! Not sure he had any input on what his birth name was going to be, but if it provides Wykiki a rare opportunity to call someone a CUNT, let's allow it As for his music. Agree with Alex that it was nothing earth shattering, he saw an opportunity to take it mainstream and exploited it. Along similar lines, I've come across way too many people who think 'The Fat Of The Land' is both the Prodigy's best album, and first album!!

yeah, and he’s proved he can score in the PL and has an affordable release clause so I can see why he has plenty of suitors. I wouldn’t be against signing him at all. I do like the look of this Ekitike kid though and he has been linked with us again.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-14646893/Newcastle-boss-Eddie-Howe-seen-time-hospitalised-pneumonia.html Hope's report from the press conference. It's the Mail, but EDDIE'S BACK so fuck you.

Was just about to post the same.

Lewis Miley - He’s one of our own (Stanley)

Calvert-Lewin would be our mix it up option if the rumours that won't go away about us being interested are true.
-
Delap is much more than a target man, and he’s rapid
-
Aye you are right he came here in 2011 and Cisse in 2012, I dunno maybe Ba was off at the African Nations or something because Cisse was playing up front without him when he was a goal machine.
-
i think that's harsh. he has the potential to be a top player and he has been putting up the numbers in germany since signing for frankfurt. he also looks bloody good from what i've seen. he's quick and skilful so i can see why we were interested initially. i'm not against signing a a target man as a wild card option up front if you're chasing the game and need to start going direct but that isn't really eddie's style. he doesn't often deviate from his preferred way of playing so signing someone like ekitike, who can slot into the system without making significant tactical adjustments when isak is injured or tired, makes total sense.
-
Do we want an Aldi Isak though? Or are we better going for a different profile so we can switch things up when games aren't going for us?
-
It would be the ultimate injury mind game by Eddie if he did the presser but didnt appear for the game.

This thing is mint. She's demoing it here using a sample quote from a film with a drum loop added, but you can piss about sampling guitar bits in and then mangle the fuck out of them in the same way as she is here (plus LOADS of other stuff). Or just load other samples and drum loops etc. It comes with four different synth engines and a fully functioning sampler and it's basically a Game Boy but for music. It's based on the old tracker format that original computer music was done on, so it looks like a spreadsheet which is always good. It's eight tracks but you can resample inside the machine so you can keep freeing up new tracks. I used to practice and learn new stuff on guitar, but I never intended to play it anywhere so it all felt a bit pointless. Now I just load nonsense into this thing, mangle it, chop it up and fanny about with it, earphones in. Hours of fun. Here's some tuneful nonsense someone's come up with on it.
