  1. Past hour
  2. Can recommend Ableton, it's what I use so it must be fairly foolproof
  3. I think it was the 'slithering' that fooled the keeper, so they'd need to check for that too if the result from the "end of toes shot" was inconclusive.
  4. Aye I don't understand the reticence to pad the Supreme Court. I also don't understand how Clarence Thomas is still there given he's been exposed as completely bent (and wasn't he a sex offender on arrival anyway?). Maybe they'll do it if Biden wins a second term. He's got nowt to lose.
  5. He could shoot Trump at the first debate and claim presidential immunity.
  6. Aye right we value him at £90m fucking arseholes
  7. It's worse now but the Republicans have been playing a long long game with the Supreme Court. They realised a long time ago that control the SC and the judiciary and you control the country You had the stolen election for Bush from Gore, which they managed to rule on in just 1 day back in 2000. They blocked Obama from appointing a justice because he was in his last year of office, then voted Amy Comey Barret in when Trump was in his last weeks The Republicans have beaten the Dems in a game the Dems didn't even realise they were playing. And now they have a generational far right nutter majority. Biden had the Presidency the House and the Senate and could have increased the number of justices to give a "progressive" majority, but the Dems are following norms and playing by the rules. They're fucked
  8. That hearing or whatever they call it on immunity was insane. None of this has been required in the history of the country, and they get one bad actor who fills the Supreme Court with corrupted justices, and that's all it took to fuck the whole thing up.
  9. With the Supreme Court now expected to come up with a rather bizarre ruling on immunity it looks like there will be a terrible and lasting damage Trump has caused to the rule of law whatever does happen to him. Even him dropping dead won’t help. Terrible times.
  10. Driscoll took up the entire car park at Wylam a few weeks back doing some promotional event. I had to park on the street to walk the dog. I'm afraid that was NOT a vote winner for him.
  11. My Twitter feed is now full of compilations of him pinging 40 yard diagonals 🤷🏼‍♂️
  12. Today
  13. It's a Digital Audio Workstation, which is a recording studio in your laptop cos nobody uses tape anymore. In this case it's a maximum of 8 tracks. So it's basically the 21st century equivalent of when kids used to have Tascam 4 and 8 tracks to record their bands onto cassettrs in the 80s/90s, and possibly earlier, I wouldn't know Ableton has sort of a unique setup called Session View which lends itself to DJ stuff too, which is why I thought Gloom might be interested, but you can also record normal instruments (guitars) into it, and there's loads of places online where you can get drum loops and stuff and build out songs. You need a half decent laptop (8gb ram) for it not to just kill your computer, and if you're wanting to plug a guitar in you need an audio interface (think external sound card that is much better than the one that comes with your laptop), which you can get for less than a hundred quid. Once you've got an audio interface you can plug keys and all sorts through that and record on to your computer. It comes with a sampler too so you can (for example) chop up drum tracks into individual hits and then create your own drum track by stitching the sample clips back together. Like the old school hip hop lot would do. Or you can just drop multiple MP3s into different tracks and make your own Wham megamixes. Anyway, it's free to a good home cos I've ended up getting two activation codes for it but I've already got Ableton anyway. First time I used one was this software called Reaper and I couldn't fucking believe that you could do this stuff in your own computer.
  14. I saw this yesterday but with a Rottweiler. They all have that "ive been living off salt" six pack.
  15. Aye Man City were allowed to spend their milllions/billions. Now they've climbed to the summit they have everything in place to carry on and be untouched by the rest.
  16. it hasn't really hindered man city though, has it? you were able to spend your oil millions before the proper punishments came in snd are now closing in on a fourth successive title. we have the richest owners in the world but they are being denied the chance to grow their club the same way that man city and chelsea owners were able to because of the bullshit psr rules.

  18. I’m not sure he’ll be a long term replacement. He’ll add some competition to places. Botman and Lascelles aren’t going to be back until ~Jan so we are threadbare at the minute. Kelly would be handy to add for the same reason to LCB/LB. Both are free which would open up cash to be spent on Mbappe.
  19. Mind, with the mayoral elections up tomorrow, I do worry that Dim McGuinness will take it just because she’s standing for Labour. I wouldn’t trust her to implement a toothbrush into her mouth
  20. From what I’ve seen this season of the massive fuckin unit that is Tosin Adarabioyo is that he’s a decently physical but still raw round the edges defender. If he’s being groomed as Schar’s long term replacement his passing range may need some training ground help. Or we get some other cunt to cut devastatingly accurate diagonals from right to left and come up with a handy 4-5 goals a season . That might have to be a midfielder though. On a free though he’s a very good addition
  21. Sent. One down, one to go. Anyone else? Anyone have any kids interested in this kind of stuff?
