Haven’t even see the goals from last night tbh, been busy. Pope should play, he’s the better goalkeeper overall imo. He’s not in good form which is different, he will only get into good form by playing. Honestly think the recent performances from the whole team are down to tiredness and lack of options. Our first team can give anyone a game when they play well, but due to injuries, inability to spend and lack of quality in squad players, the majority of our first team have played most games.

People need to stop counting lascelles in the discussions in future squads, he’s fucking dog eggs. Would be one of the first out the place if I had my way. If ends up starting any games for us next season it’s a lack of planning. Don’t mind if he stays around for the vibes or whatever but deffo shouldn’t be actually playing for a team chasing Europe in 2025

Honestly I didn’t expect this. So next year on contract we have pope, dubs and the Argonaut? The swindle, will probably leave. I wouldn’t be surprised if Ruddy stayed on as a training keeper. There are reports that Trafford is incoming (very happy with that btw, he will be future England no1). Maybe he gives pope, dubs and trafford a run at each other and see who comes out on top for starting? It’s not a bad thing to have more good players, if we can afford it.

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

Not even the worst I’ve done. Got sent of within 4 minutes of my debut once -
Agree with most but Ruddy will stay, he’s a training goalkeeper on (relatively) small wages. See Scott Carson at city for example. Dubs should leave and Trafford/another goalkeeper to come in to replace/push Pope. Would also keep Longstaff, he’s gets a lot of stick but to replace him would cost more than we could get for him. Plus homegrown at club.

Most of the southerners you saw today probably live in Manchester tbh mate. It’s like little Clapham when you walk around the northern quarter now, I know it’s rich coming from me from Boro. But anyone who has a clue moves out of boro obviously. One of my best mates down here is mad city, always has been but doesn’t go anymore. Hasn’t since they changed stadium, that’s my worry for our fans in future.

They can just go out and buy a player in January that cost the same as our record signing. Not saying we haven’t been shite either, both are true.

Brothers funeral today, liver is going to take a beating worse than Arsenal later

I’m on my first automatic ever with my Q5 and I will never be going back to manual. Mugs game changing your own gears

I’ve lived and worked in london for a few years previously. If me and the missus go now, we stay in Richmond and get the train into central, much more civilised and relaxed.

A lot will depend on which referee liverpool decide to play against us imo

Actually, taken offence to this. The UK is one of the safest places to work in the world, because of the health and safety legislation in place and the well trained and professional experts in the field. If work is slow is because of health and safety it probably means the work shouldn’t be done or the budget is too low. I personally wouldn’t dare to say to the pharmaceutical industry is doing something wrong because, I know nowt. Ring a bell?

Incorrect, it takes decades because of poor workmanship (your problem for not vetting your contractors). Or it takes ages to get through planning, due to Tory cuts to planning departments. Like I said (and construction professionals agreed) GOOD H&S makes construction quicker, bad H&S I have no idea about cos I’m good at my job.

Outclassed Arteta tonight, totally out-thought him and it was amazing. They didn’t have a clue, first half sub of whoever their winger is was a massive clue Arteta shit the bed. Again
-
Honestly thought it was a cock going into an arsehole personally
-
Hope the crowd is fucking raucous and not nervous. We’ve beat this loudmouth cunts twice already we can do it again
-
Point of order. Good health and safety doesn’t slow down construction, it speeds up it through proper planning.
-
This thread is further proof of the dead internet theory

If there’s a report of a withered man found wandering around south Manchester with his cock in his hand soon, yeah she’s in it.

Sorry for your sight loss, must be tough

The lass whose house they are using has only confirmed James Nesbitt, not my type but it takes all sorts.

You know those shite Harlen Coben books they are making into tv shows for bored housewives? They are filming one on our street this week, place is full of “production” people. It’s all mildly exciting
-
Going out on a limb here but maybe they are waiting until we are a regular qualifier for European competition before they announce sponships, so that the value can be higher than if we weren’t? Mind blowing I know.

Fair enough. Theres a dearth of teams who could afford him imo. Italy - Maybe Napoli France - PSG, currently playing without a proper striker Germany - Bayern, Harry Kane Spain - Real, Mbappe. Barca, broke England - City, Haaland. Liverpool, too many forwards as is but maybe if Salah left. Chelsea, sideways step. Man Utd, won’t be in the champions league. Spurs, ditto. In my view that leaves arsenal, the fact they bid for Watkins instead of even trying for him this month suggests to me they don’t think they could afford him either.
