  1. Think there is a couple of things going on here. Howe needs to figure out some patterns of play in games where we are the “favourites”, we had a good couple of years being the “underdogs” in a lot of games which suited his tactics and the players we had/have bought. But now teams realise we struggle with the ball, they give it to us and break on us. We need to be better in possession basically. I also think a lot of teams now are playing percentage football, i.e playing how we used to play. But they are more clinical than us at the moment, due to bad form from us. Think Eddie needs to ignore the sports scientists for a while, get the lads onto the training pitch and actually work with them and not just prepare for the next game. If we lose a few with muscle injuries, we have a decent enough squad now to cope with it.
  2. Don’t even think it had any veg on it, just chips. Unless I’m misremembering
  3. Took my mam here today if anyone is arsed. Big recommend. The seafood platter isn’t cheap but top notch.
  4. Why are red peppers so much nicer than green?
  5. Lump on marra, show us your winnings at the end of the seyson
  6. Golf GTI mark 2, east to work on and parts a plentiful
  7. Big mixed Asian community around me, they fucking love a firework. Weddings, funerals, Monday Its more normal not to hear them.
  8. Played ok. Great result. I think the Gordon injury might come at a good time for us, he has been dog eggs for a while. Thiaw (I hope) was immense again. Also big Nick Pope was fucking flawless the entire game, even with his feet.
  9. Obviously hope we win, but more so I want us to play well. Like we can when everyone is on it. At them from the start and don’t let off.
  10. Only been to Belfast but it was class, really enjoyed it. The people were mint, although I expected that cos I was in halls with about 20 of the cunts first year of uni.
  11. Anyone been to the fish shack at Amble? Taking out mam away for a weekend up that way and she’s big into sea food.
  12. Box ticking, pointless shit like this is what gives safety a bad name. As well as the Keith Lard cunts who populate it. Really annoys me but it is changing slowly.
  13. I’ve said for a while if we click someone is getting battered. Early goal here, their crowd turn could be messy. 6-0
  14. Been good, need to get Woltemade on the ball a bit more, early goal this half and we win
  15. How many of you zoomed it to do the questions?
  16. I don’t really know you but I have an intimate knowledge of cancer recovery so if you want to talk to anyone just dm me. No pressure, hope you’re doing ok.
  17. I can’t get my head around people happily using AI stuff like it isn’t a big contribution to the planet melting. Its not an essential, it’s a frivolity.
  18. I’m 41, out of all my friends 2 have kids. The rest don’t, most live in rented flats or houses and are saving for a house deposit. All from working class backgrounds. Now I’m not saying all these couples could definitely have had kids but not having stable housing is a massive problem for people my age and younger. The days of a man’s wage covering house, bills, food etc. while the missus stays at home with the baby ate pie in the sky now.
  19. Brighton making Man Utd look good here, the fucking southern puffs
  20. We lost this last season 2-1 after being 1-0 up. Might not have been pretty at times but we missed so many good chances, could have had it wrapped up first half. Think the stats back up that we are missing good chances a lot this season, someone eventually will get a dry a bumming when it all clicks.
  21. I’ve done a few hours on it. It’s not that bad, but does take some getting used to. It’s a massive change to the UI.
  22. Just echoing what everyone else has said mate, make sure to look after yourself. Grief is weird
  23. Yeah I ended up in the Forth, after some scran in Grainger market
