I know nowt about boxing but to punch a man who is clearly quite hard, in the head and knock him to the ground after half an hour of trying not to get punched yourself, probably takes some kind of special attribute that very few people have.

They need a big, unifying character to come in as manager and do something similar to what Rafa did here, I reckon. They're in total disarray from top to bottom and any connection with the fans is probably long gone. Moyes has shown that he can't do it and I've got absolutely no idea who they could find that would have that effect. Considering we were fortunate to get Rafa (and even more fortunate to get him to stay), we're also a much more attractive proposition to tempt someone like that. I wouldn't touch Sunderland with a barge pole atm, they're a shambles.
