  1. Fucking hell, man. I can understand some of their lot holding on to some hope (I honestly do) since without that faintest bit of hope, what's the point of even supporting your side? But, they're really stretching credibility now.
  2. These have got a Brighton player on loan if you all want to have a bet on which cunt sinks us in the last minute.
  3. I'd say they can have Murphy but he's done a canny job so they can have, I don't know, Lazaar instead.
  4. Will say that Atsu's flick over that kid's head was class too. Even better when the kid he skinned tried to hack him straight down and he just shrugged it off and played Ritchie in. If the keeper hadn't made a decent save from it, that would have been a Goal of the Month contender.
  5. Aye, even Arteta played in Scotland so it's not like he had some profound moment of scouting excellence there, either
  6. Got a lot of time for Pochettino like but he got sold some magic beans there, the daft bastard
  7. tbh, I think the fact we're top with a pretty limited bunch of players shows how good Rafa is. Outside of Gayle, Ritchie and Shelvey, there's not a Premier League player among them. Compare it to last time when you had Enrique, Carroll, Coloccini, Nolan, Carroll, Gutierrez, Routledge etc who were top flight players, it was no surprise we pissed it. This is a pretty young bunch so there's time for them to improve. Having said that, I'm not sure if it was my lingering hangover from Friday but that second half was a slog. After Ritchie scored, there was a 5 minute period where Colback, Hanley and Dummett were just knocking it between each other to the point where I wasn't sure if my brain had broken or I'd fallen asleep. Still, similar to a lot of games this season in that the opposition were total shit but worked hard enough to make it a bit tricky for us. I love Matt Ritchie, like, he's a great player. Thought Anita had a canny game and when he was a bit more adventurous with his passing, he caused them some problems so hopefully he can be a bit braver in future. Colback got pelters for simply existing but thought he was canny enough though you saw what an improvement Hayden is when he came on. Just in terms of mopping up and being a bit more of a presence combined with the fact he always has his head up and wants to get it forward. Lascelles had another ropey game, as he tends to when Clark isn't in keeping him in line as his lack of pace and agility really can expose him sometimes. Gayle was hard-working as always and when he dropped deeper, he played some clever passes. Did everyone see the size of their left back btw? He was about 7 foot 6 and not sure he won a header all game.
  8. I see Harry Winks is keeping him out of the Spurs side these days. Watched MOTD this morning and he popped up a couple of times. The first time, his first touch was like something Shola would even scoff at and then he hit a shot first time in the box and it fucking ballooned into the stratosphere. The massive gulf in technical ability when you compare him and basically everyone else in Spurs' side is laughable. I can understand the idea of signing him as, in theory, you're getting a powerful, fast attacker and Spurs lack a bit of bite sometimes but fuck me, why would you pick him?
  9. Moyes is such an unimaginative manager with regards to his scouting as his signings at Sunderland have mostly or all come from teams he's managed in the past too. Gibson and Oviedo in January ffs, I understand they're absolutely skint but did he see no decent players when he was in Spain like?
  10. Still haven't mustered up the courage to listen to that Mount Eerie album yet. Might try when I'm hangover and have a good cry. Been listening to Steve McQueen by Prefab Sprout for about 2 days and I fully recommend that.
  11. The drama argument really works more for the TV favour as well tbh. Most of the time, when I'm at the match, when we score, I look straight to the linesman and wait for it to be flagged for something rather than celebrating
  12. You can't even say he talks a good game now since the last two jobs have exposed him as the complete fraud he is
  13. I know the clocks went back but I didn't realise we went back to 1976
  14. I love the idea of them being so obsessed with us that an ex-player of ours, who even we hate, can get on the front page by calling the place a shit tip. The headline might as well be "Ex-Mag Gobshite Tells Truth"
  15. We should sign the Mitrovic that plays for Serbia
  16. All sounds up my alley. Might make it a trip to Vienna and then pop over to Bratislava for a day to have a bit wander about (drink) As for the porn stars, Eastern European are right up my street tbf. Dark hair, pale complexion and an ever so tortured look in their eyes, like they live their lives, constantly repressing violent memories.
  17. Aye, thing is Re: Diame, I think he does try and tracks around, he's just so fucking slow that he looks like he's running in quicksand. Sissoko has shown that he's rapid, he just cannot be arsed. A tall, quick player who only sprints three times a game and never jumps for headers unless he's completely unmarked. A total fanny who, and I quote someone else here, spends all game kicking the ball off people's shins.
  18. Hope some of our lot who were in that stadium against Fulham read that and shut the fuck up a bit
  19. I see they've got a Stokoeov statue. Looks canny, that though. I was thinking of Bratislava as it looks picturesque from the pictures but don't know anyone that's actually been.
  20. I see he's running to L'Equipe AGAIN to tout himself about. Might be the most delusional player we've had play for us; at least Cabaye was actually good.
  21. Aye, watched Boro the last few times they've been on telly and he's the only one that's stood out. Would be a good signing to keep Clark and Lascelles on their toes
