I bet CT prefers Wings to The Beatles too

Thank you, Troy and Abed.

It's by Armando Ianucci, Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain mostly. Ianucci co-wrote Alan Partridge and wrote for The Day Today. The other two write Peep Show and a film called Four Lions, with Chris Morris of Brass Eye fame. Basically, if you start with Iannucci and connect the dots, you'll get some of the best British comedy of the last 20 years

How quick we forget the Olympics.

Not sure why this made me laugh but I'm buckled, sorry

Excellent page, lads. More of the same.

Has everyone heard the crack about Kean getting sacked last night but turning up to training this morning? A man so positive, he tries to see the upside of losing his job by simply continuing to do it.

Newcastle v Norwich City: 22nd or 23rd Sept

If we just spent our possession crossing balls into the box for Papiss Cisse but him losing every header, would people honestly prefer it? -
Parks and Rec was class as well. "Chris Traeger Feelings Update!"

Cisse was going to go but was ill, wasn't he? -
http://www.giantbomb.com/tokyo-jungle/61-32532/ This looks MINT. Giant Bomb basically devoted yesterday's coverage to it and it looks brilliant. If you can't be arsed reading or watching anything in that link, it's a game where humans have left Earth and the animals have taken over and started hunting each other. You play as some of these animals in a story (!) where you get to the bottoms of things or play Survival mode where you have to fuck the ecosystem royally up and survive for as long as possible. It looks bananas and you must play it when it drops next week. Terriers just get together and fuck your shit up and you have NO hope unless you dig in and get dirty as a Pomeranian, whatever that is.

Menomena's new one. Definitely front-loaded but what's there is excellent. Maybe the second half is a grower. Also revisited Chairlift's album and that's a superb album. Some excellent singles off it.

Aye, this one mackem in a pub we get in always tries to wind us up but because the sad twat watches all our matches in there, we just have to react to everything Taylor does like he's Baresi and he's off on one.

Win the home games, draw the away games, sorted. Thought the performance was canny from most barring a few; Vuckic couldn't get into it, Obertan could only be arsed for 10 minutes but looked dangerous when he did, some of the defending was shocking but the hoofs were better than usual thanks to Shola making their centre halves shit it. He should have scored like. There's no way Abeid offers less than Gosling btw. Gosling was alongside Bigi and Bigi looked twice the player. -
Is certainly capable of all of those but more No. 1 than owt else.

I'll take a point here like but I'd take that from all the away games as long as we win our home ones. 12 points would be enough, surely? -

These have had the same start to the season as us, results-wise. I'd take a shite 1-0 and no more injuries. -

If only Penelope Cruz would come round and do what she should, I'd be able to play with her baps. -

What we "should have done" to him is give him more than we valued Debuchy at, I assume. -
How does one glam down? Did one of your alter-egos write this, Fish?

I'll take a point, we always get done down Goodison. Especially now we have Krul, Coloccini and Tiote out.
