  1. Might pick up The Witcher 2 and see how it is on consoles. Not played a lot from this year though aside from Mass Effect 3 and some downloadable titles (Fez being the amazing one), need to get through Binary Domain, Syndicate, SSX etc.
  2. Been on their side all season if you look at some of the decisions that have went their way. They had none of it last night like and did play well but you've got to fancy Barca at home IMO. I can see Bayern going through away to Madrid but it's setting itself up nicely for an El Classico final. maybe, I wonder what the odds are of Real and Mourinho beating Chelsea in the Final. I'd laugh my tits off at Chesea tbh ie John Terry etc. Both semi finals are on a knife edge, and you should never write the Germans off either. Was about to say that about the Germans. Could fall in a river of shit and come out smelling of roses. Tbh, I'd almost like Chelsea to get to the final and lose there again. Can't stand the players, the fans, the manager, those stupid plastic fucking flags.
  3. That's the last foreign team's shirt I bought. Long sleeves as well for that proper Italian deep-lying playmaker look.
  4. Plus, I'd give Gosling a year out on loan so he can actually play some football. Barely played in 2 years and that can't be doing his development any good. Look what a year of constant playing in the Championship did for Guthrie.

I wouldn't want a Classico final, the build up would be really tedious and the match would t be that good tbh, would rather see barca v bayern Agree with you tbh. El Classico is usually just a lot of diving, fighting and an occassional brilliant goal these days. Except that one Barca won 5-0 where they took them apart, that was brilliant. Everytime I've watched it since, it's been embarrassing.
  6. Aye, was denied a work permit though so never played. Keegan tried to bring him in. Never realised Sir Les was on Twitter, is he worth a follow?

  8. We all going to see his band play on the 3rd of May, aye?
  9. Messi hattrick is only 18/1 too. Very tempting to hoy a fiver on that.
  10. Aye, the nature of standing, and especially celebrating if we score, means you'll end up nowhere near where you started.
  11. Spurs was the mental Robert volley. His whole performance that game was world-class. Scored two absolute screamers and set the other two up. Unplayable.
  12. I think they'll just be glorified pre-season friendlies. I'll pass, even if Messi goes, because we'll be taking his team of Spanish fairies apart next year anyway.
  13. God, remember we signed Owen and Solano on the same day?! Not even Souness' face could ruin that press conference.
  14. Shearer had a tendency under Sir Bobby to just absolutely take the piss with some of his strikes. Villa, Everton, Chelsea, Man U, those freekicks with Solano. One of my favourite Toon goals from the back end of Shepard is Sibierski's piss-taking dribble and finish in Europe. Think it's Zulte Waregem and it was so out of the blue. Remember him scoring a lot of our goals in that campaign. We're moving away from Premier League but if that Nobby shot that hit the bar in the San Siro had went in, I'd still be rewatching it now.
  15. Singer grated on me a bit at times with that album. Nice to see that sort of thing get some mainstream attention though.
  16. What? If 2 clubs are willing to bid against each other then yes, that does make the player worth abit more. In the transfer market sense, not your own valuation. If you think something is worth a fiver, you're not going to pay a tenner because someone else wants it, especially if there's other options.
  17. I think his first 45 minutes at Bolton were his very best as NUFC manager. After that, he just went to shit.
  18. Clarence Acuna. In the grand scheme of things, I think Lovenkrands might fall in this category.
  19. That's the model at literally every club though. Ronaldo was sold for £80 million because for as good as he is, £80 million is mental and they've still had success. Now, you're going to get into the pedantics of 100%, aren't you?
  20. Tony Pulis is a complete fucking helmet and nowt you say can convince me otherwise.
  21. Right then, no more discussion about running a football club since it's fucking ridiculous carry-on. No more wading into threads going "Well, what will happen when we sell our best players" and then no more biting to it. Can we please just enjoy potentially finishing 4th ffs?
  22. Stoke are boring as owt to watch, man. Their long ball shit isn't even long throw, it's hoof the ball wide, win a throw, pile tall lads into the box. It's not even interesting from a tactical POV.
