New crest will come before a new stadium, anyway.

Tindall must have hit him hard with that right boot.

87/88 was the first season of 2 subs.

We need to stop reacting to these 'news' items. FFS move on, he's gone. Revel in when it's going badly and be grateful for the £62m of pure profit at other times.
-
Unless we're already got an improved replacement secured, he's going nowhere IMO.

Competition, and cover. It was clear Dubravka didn't want to play second fiddle so we needed a solution for cover with Chaka Demus also departing and them not wanting to rely solely on Ruddy. Trafford and Garcia were clearly options we were looking at, but neither of them came to fruition - at that point we were looking specifically for cover, not necessarily competition.
-
With Eales and Silverstone, in particular, departing we'd be naive to expect the timetable for decision making not to pause somewhat. A solution will have to be found though - we've reached capacity - both in terms of getting fans before the game, and the commercial revenue. They're going to need to invest to push that agenda.
-
Ramsdale is definitely a better option than Dubravka, and has age on his side. Playing regular first team football was more priority for Dubravka than it is for Ramsdale as well given it's WC year and almost certainly Dubravka's last international tournament.
-
Yeah, apologies for that. I think with Silverstone going and the arrival of pretty much a whole new C-suite we're not going to get any answers in the timeframe previously suggested. That said, I think the important part to take from that video is the comment that it's pretty much a given that things cannot remain as they are - a change (of some description) is coming soon.

Sky claiming Chelsea's goal yesterday was offside and shouldn't have been given. Wonder if they'll bring this one back up at the end of the season as they did the 'over the line' issue with us a couple of years back. Interesting take on the stadium situation. The match day revenue projections would suggest the decision for the long-term is surely a no-brainer.

Surely it should have been Gentrified borders?

I was born in Kendal, and my home village is about 10 miles south of there - right next to J36. As such I've always thought it a bit of a stretch to say I'm from the Lake District, but I reckon I'm as close as 'The Heart of the Lake District' Center Parcs.

He's played one game where the opposition didn't turn up. Let's not run away with things just yet. We continue to monitor the situation on a match by match basis and react accordingly. As others have said, Pope is the better technical goalkeeper, but he needed to have a break - for his own confidence if nothing else.
-
I've just looked it up on the back of this comment. Whinfell Forest?! It's considerably nearer to the Pennines than the Lake District!
-
I think they'll finish comfortably mid-table, but I expect they'll fall short of European qualification. Being objective, they probably need to for their own sake - they need to be fully established in the league before that added complication. They've undoubtedly done well so far this season. I don't think it'll be sustained and they are due a rut. Xhaka has been unbelievably good signing for them.
-
You're touching on the key point for me. The next keeper needs to be a massive upgrade. Trafford for me is a bit of a side-step. He has potential, but there's no guarantee it'll be realised. Maybe someone like Unai Simon.

When they likes of the Torygraph are reporting it, it's difficult for even their most hardened right-winger to defend. But they will...
-
The complacency for them is building beautifully ... and we're coming into form just at the right time. They're convinced they're going to give us an absolute hiding.
