Some revisionism going on here mind. We only lost to Arsenal and Liverpool with 96th and 99th min winners earlier in the season. Comfortably beat Spurs, Benfica, Bilbao, USG, Bradford in the cups. Held our own against Barca. There's not a huge post-Isak hangover in the dressing room, we've played some mint football at times with big Nick at the centre of it. I suspect the issue is Howe demanding the players play a high press, fast paced game, twice a week, with minimal rotation. Woltemade, Elanga, Gordon, Tonali, Bruno, Burn and Joelinton have also played a handful of internationals on top of that. We didn't figure out how to do it in 2023, and we haven't figured it out now. Same happened to Villa in the CL, but they seem to have hit a bit of form now alongside their EL games.
