West Bromwich Albion v Newcastle United
PaddockLad replied to Howmanheyman's topic in Newcastle Forum
The media are giving the cunt great write ups at the moment. Fuckin clueless most of them, which is ironic because so is Pardew... -
The people of Sunderland support their team in numbers that few can match in view of their history and economic circumstances. They've been largely unmitigated shit for their entire existance and they still took nearly 3k to Southampton to see them let 8 in. Long may it continue

not been tempted by the Spurs league cup game?...
-
They could intoduce a new "top north east football journo's diary" segment, narrated by the author perhaps, for an approprate fee, minus 10% to your agent (i.e. in this case, me )
-
yeah fair one. But if you want folks to listen again then for me youve got to provide something a bit different, and this was just a bit meh really..
-
Agreed, I was expecting a near half hour of Geordie football related side splitting mirth.....instead it was 4 vaguely jocular and amiable geezers talking about what we talk about on here, only I could actually hear it. Which is and was fine, but after your disclaimer that some of your pals get paid to tell jokes I was expecting some humour above the level of Sammi Ameobi's "trumpet", fnarr fnarr etc...

I'd be interested in Viduka's appearance stats over his career, to see if he really was injured most midwinters and just seemed to play late summer/early autumn and in the spring? http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/nov/06/the-secret-footballer-book-extract-fans-supporters

Newcastle away Real Madrid away Chelsea home If I'm Brendan Rogers I'm resting players in the "easiest" fixture , i.e. Newcastle away...he's basically treating a game at the greatest club in European football history in UEFA's blue riband competition as a capital one cup game
-
He got divorced 10 years ago after he went to a school reunion and met his ex again. Not sure what he's been doing with his loot since then.... "badly advised"?...

Martin O'Neil spent all Villas money so Lerner's pulled the plug budget wise, see also the various chancers culminating in Gareth Southgate at Boro under Steve Gibson. Boro only now riding high in the championship 5 years on from relegation with us. The phrase "wiping their own mouth" springs to mind here.....heard that before somewhere I seem to remember....?

Hammers fans claiming similar due to their good start to the season... did they sign Song and their two new strikers as well?...
-
As a character defect that's as bad as it gets tbf... Do you attend a support group Fish? Dont say this place is it?? Poor lad.
-
Fish you do this every time when it comes to lfc supporters, that Twitter account has 2k followers and you appear to be taking their opinion as representative of the entire lfc support
-
Generally I'd agree but the premise of this Rogers Out campaign appears to be factually incorrect
-
What a load of shite. Rogers has as much input in transfers as Pardew does. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/liverpool-transfer-science-muppet-show-4559695 It's the same at most premier league clubs

Tempted for 15 quid.... http://www.toffs.com/newcastle-united-retro-style-training-shirt-2 20% off today on everything by the looks of it too...
-
https://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/football/premier-league/2011-2012/liverpool-newcastle-united-453884.html Point remains, he's stumbled over a system that works rather than come up with it himself.

Pardew played him at Anfield a couple of years ago and he looked lost. Two loans later he's ready, but Pardews reverted to the 433 that got him 5th place only for a fortnight out if the last 2 seasons. He's played Abeid in cup games that he's been instructed to get beaten and we shouldn't lose sight of that. Obertan couldn't find a club in the summer after Pardew told him to find one, yet we're now told rehabilitating him is a Pardew master stroke. That sounds suspiciously like the praise he got for "sorting out Ben Arfa".....how did that turn out again?... This seasons plan a was Siem de Jong playing in Cisse, it's taken Pardew four months since de Jong's injury to stumble across a plan b that might save us from relegation. Pardew has made some decent substitutions in the last fortnight but that's it for me.

Aye he mentioned it earlier. He seemed to question our right to complain about our record since January without any mention of the record itself, and this fuckers a journalist paid for presumably balanced viewpoints? You still in Kinson mate? ..... Just seen a bloke in a Northern Rock black and white strip pushing a trolley round Sainsburys in Poole, wasn't you was it?

Patrick Barclay is a fuckin wanker, second only to Robbie Savage this lunchtime, they're both on the BBC at the moment displaying how little they know about Newcastle United and its supporters.
