Right, putting together all the bullshit for a nice conspiracy theory. His agent went to Milan with what they wanted, Milan couldn’t meet it, so his agent has went to Newcastle, Sky Italia hearing the banter have moved to get ahead of the gazumping and have claimed our bid went up. Have to admit it’s a lot funner to follow than the Choudrey updates.

sure you want to go to Milan, Sven?

It would be better if they went one step further and you didn't know your squad and first team until your first match of the season. Imagine being a Man City supporter and Haaland stroll's out the first game of the season.

This is almost as insane as getting a dog for Christmas and hoping your kids wont notice until you've stopped it shitting on the carpet and announce "we got a puppy!" sometime around February.

Like yourself I'm no medical expert, but him growing into his body does seem plausible. You can tell by looking at him that he's not finished growing and will fill out. As for DCL he has just turned 25, he'll be coming into his prime in the next few seasons, so it's entirely possible that he will become more consistent, and it's not like he's been in a very good or consistent team at Everton. One thing is for certain, and that is that he's a monster in the air, which is a seldom seen attribute these days, at least at his level, and adds value.

Steven Gerrard was permacrocked in his early playing days. Hopefully it's just an age thing...

Gerrard’s problems weren’t  to do with his hamstring.

Hamstring injuries tend to occur more often the older a player gets. They can also be caused by the way that a footballer plays. If you take away a burst of acceleration then do you have the same player?

It’s definitely a risk to sign a young player with his history for big money.

Then again Ryan Giggs was plagued with hamstring injuries in his early years but learned to overcome them with lifestyle changes.

So are you saying we need to make sure his sister-in-law is up for it before we sign him?

they just know that The Irons head of recruitment Rob Newman has an astonishing track record and so ANY player he is interested in is worth pursuing as well.

He joined in October 2021, there's been one transfer window since and West Ham didn't sign anyone in it., he has absolutely no track record in that job at all

He was Man Citys chief scout for a decade before that mind but lets be honest, has he been going anywhere that Pep or Begiristain weren't telling him to?
