we've still got more than a puncher's chance of progressing. we can beat milan at home if the group is still alive with the crowd behind us. PSG is the big one but they weren't up to much at SJP, so why not? we might have isak and botman back by then - maybe barnes too if the latest is to be believed

I'm not sure we do. I don't think we will beat PSG in Paris, and even if we beat Milan, we'd be on 7pts, behind PSG and Dortmund (on head to heads).

8 points could be enough, no? a draw in paris and victory against milan will mean we beat them both on head to head

That's true enough

If Dortmund beat Milan, and PSG only get a point from us (even though they have a 100% record at the Parc des Princes).

The table would look like;

Dortmund 10

PSG 7

Milan 5

NUFC 5

Dortmund would have qualified with a game in hand. PSG just need a point. We'd have to beat Milan, and Milan would have to beat us to be in with a shout of qualification.

Who would we have back by 13th Dec?

Honigstein was on James Richardson's podcast saying how disappointed Germany had been with Newcastle. Third best team in the Prem (not sure where he got that from), expected a better showing etc.

When it was pointed out to him that we're in the middle of an injury crisis, his cunty response was "Well if you're going to be in the CL you need a squad that can compete on four fronts".

Aye. Dickhead. But FFP means you can't just magic that up two years after being a knocking bet for relegation, doesn't it.

The bloke is an arsehole.

Livramento got a 5 which really means 2/6?

Fuck off you Kraut Kuntz. Stick to sticking homeopathic coffee enemas up your arsen.

Agree with the sentiment but you clearly don't watch enough Jorman porn - it's "Arsch" pronounced as "ash" as in "Ficken mein arsch".

The ratings from Jormany’s leading football magazine (1 is the best, 6 would be worst). They certainly watched a different game.

Referee got a 4 because of many small mistakes but not a major one.

What did they give BVB?

Because the teams weren’t really that different and had Big Joe actually converted one of his chances who knows. (And this was in front of their famous yellow wall replete with drums and erm post goal music)

Somebody surely pointed out to him that ffp aside, German teams are only

competing on three fronts and have a winter break to look forward to.
