A very brave female journalist from the FT asked Trump what he thought about the fact that Wall Street has a new term called "the TACO trade" that stands for Trump Always Chickens Out. Cue a long, rambling, wheel-spinning response that ended with "that's a nasty word, don't ever say that".

He’s prepared for these fights with the courts, he knew they were coming. He’s used courts to bully his opponents all his life. It’s what he does…
-
He can apparently appeal…
-
A court in the US has blocked nearly all of Trump’s tariffs. That’s pretty much his whole economic plan down the shitter.

Better.

Yes no-one could blame him for choosing Barca if they're offering
-
Guehi and Mbooma would be fantastic, but it's hard to see how either transfer could he wrapped up quickly unless we're prepared to make massive take it or leave it offers. It's Palace and Brentford's prerogative whether to sell sell of course, I just hope we tell Bishop to stick it up his arse if he starts his nonsense again. We cant waste our summer on fannying around.
-
he might well be a Barca fan (no idea). Plus if that is the plan then I’m sure he’ll get his chance after a loan spell or two - if he is good enough. It’s too good of a chance to turn down unfortunately.
-
Yeah. Unfortunately if it’s between us and Barca there’s no contest. Especially for a young Spanish lad. On us missing signings, Mitchel is gonna end up looking like a chump from this transfer window either way. Bad window = his fault. Good window = lucky he left when he did. Getting Guehi would be a wonderful start. And then “You’re not a Buuudhist” Mbuumo next.
-
You might when you're an espanyol player who they just want to loan out as soon as he signs.
-
you don’t turn down Barca.

We will never know how good he was behind the scenes but he came across as an arrogant twat who opened his mouth to change feet
-
I don't really believe that. If he wanted to go I can't see any performance related reason why leadership would have tried to persuade him to stay. Possibly this idea has been leaked to prevent it from looking like our ownership and board are difficult to work with? From all we have seen PSR is the difficult part. Mitchell appeared to get everyone offside very early with the not fit for purpose interview, perhaps he was never able to recover from this and wasn't a good fit for the club's culture. In the past now, but without being able to see behind the curtains he appeared to do a largely terrible job.

I'm gonna get some absolute pelters for this, but I've had Sisters of Mercy stuff on rotation for a bit these last few days. There was a really good reason behind initially putting them them on, but it became quickly very evident that Mrs B absolutely fucking hates them, so I've been dragging the absolute arse out of it.

I had So Tough on whilst trundling back home last night. Stand out track is Hobart Paving I reckon.
-
Sounds like Delap is off to Chelsea. That's him and Cunha off the list. If Mbuemo heads elsewhere then Howe is going to be royally fucked off. Joan Garcia is reportedly choosing between us and Barca
-
Fair enough that. Club's responsibility at the end of the day to have a succession plan in place.
-
Betis just ran out of steam IMO, then tried to hit back and were destroyed. All ten of Chelsea's traveling fans looked slightly above indifferent at winning it though, so y'know, big success for the club. Means everything.
