  1. Just paid the deposit on this little beast, sorry about the small photo Pick her up in about 2 weeks.
  2. I did some of my basic H&S qualifications as home study while I was working. They are accredited courses though so its not just skipping through a few slides and a multiple choice at the end. Its a pretty bad way to learn mind, after a full day of work picking up the books is a chore.
  3. The only time in my life I have ever had any remotely dark thoughts were when I lived in London, I just couldn't drink out of any more jam jars.
  4. Totally depends on the owner but they will walk no probs if they are used to it, if you let it sit and eat then its happy to do that too. Like most dogs I imagine. Our lass works from home and I can work from home a couple of days a week or take it to some sites with me so it wont be a mad fatty. Just need to find a decent breeder and stump up the cash now.
  5. My definition of great is different to yours therefore you can pipe us off, clown.
  6. We do live near a fair few parks and that, honestly Bulldogs are one of the best breeds for city living from our research. They are also quite a bit bigger than a Beagle. Its either this or a kid and fuck that noise.
  7. Haha nah they found some other mugs to do it and spent about 100 grand of council tax on a site where the residents don't pay any.
  8. When I lived in London my company was contracted by the Council to do some improvement works on a Gypsy site in south london. We were doing improvement works to these outhouse type things that had bathrooms and utilities in, as well as some roadworks. One of the lovely residents had been housing two ponies in his outhouse, while another had filled his "pitch" with second hand car tyres. The best was a guy who had annexed part of the road and installed a kennels where he bred "fightn degs". When we told him we would have to move the kennels to do the road works he threatened to shoot anyone who touched them. We ended up washing our hands of it.
  9. Yeah we have been researching the right dog for us for a while. I grew up with Labradors and would love one but we live in a flat in a city so its a no go. Good breeders now are breeding issues out of bulldogs so that they have less face folds, longer legs and some even have a small tail back. Its making them miles healthier.
  10. Been looking for a Bulldog for a while. Went to see a litter last night in Liverpool and it was the second most gypo situation I have ever been in. The guy must have had 6 fully grown dogs that he breeds in rotation, they lived outside in what I would describe as squalor. Also when we walked in the front "yard" had these two huge mastiffs, and a litter of pups. Once in the back "yard" he said he only breeds Bulldogs.. err what about them fucking Hippogriffs out the front mate? I won't be purchasing one of the puppies. A family friends bought one he wasn't sure about, noticed it was blind when it started walking into walls and tables and that.
  11. Spent decent money on what look like decent signings. Doesn't gloss over the numerous windows of inactivity or selling for me. If you look at the squad now we have promising, good in other leagues, average and not very good players. I think McClaren looks like doing a good job, he is making us harder to beat and I love the re-haul of the coaching set up. Need to spend the same again in the next 3 windows and get rid of the shite like Williamson and Marveux.
  12. You are a ray of sunshine aren't you. First album was class, haven't rated anything much since. Still listening to Fat White Family.
  13. Its tough when family pets die like so hope you are OK. Got a 14 year old chocolate lab at my parents that we got when I was 16, really part of the family. Is knackered a mood? Got back from Amsterdam last night, must have walked 30 mile in 3 days, brilliant place though. Second time was a stag do so missed half the nice shit that I saw this time. Going back next year I reckon.
  14. So glad we got rid of this lazy, heartless, overweight prick. I hate seeing players who excite me. More Obertan pls.
  15. The whole team deserve credit for that, even Colback who showed up in a dog shit team last season as bang average. They all worked their knackers off. Could have lost, could have nicked it at the end. One thing for sure though, if we had gone there with Pardew or Carver in charge we would have folded in those first 15 and been comfortably beaten.
  16. 3 - 7 Colback and Obertan hattricks. Own goal round a corner by Van Gaal's nose
  17. I use a vape thing, it helped me stop smoking after 10 years. I feel infinitely better than when I was smoking, I no longer have coughing fits and I don't stink of tabs. I started going to the gym again recently and its miles easier to breath through my arse. If we are banning things that may be bad for you then we may as well lock everyone in a padded cell.
  18. Can't get on board with selling Sissoko at all. He is only 25 and as some of you have said he has attributes that none of our other midfielders have, if we are talking about going missing I can think of other more persistent offenders.
  19. Finished Inverting the Pyramid (interesting if quite slow going look at football tactics from the beginning of what we know as football till now) and The Nowhere Men (A good insight into football scouts, their roles in deals and how they are being phased out of modern football by statistics). Recommend both but Fuckin' Hell It's Paul Cannell is still my fave football book.
  20. So he reckons we are going to score 8 in 2 games. When was the last time that happened? Reckon a score draw or narrow defeat here but we will play OK.
  21. What did you say for the Southampton game?
  22. Also they asked me if I wanted to sign a waiver thing that was basically, if you should happen to die, can your other half use your sperm after your death? I wouldn't recommend freezing sperm if you can avoid it. And the cancer as well I suppose.
  23. Aye there was two dog eared magazines in a drawer, one straight and one gay. I had me phone with me. Was worried about either being in there too long or not long enough, like what is the right amount of time to spend in that situation? Too long and I look like I'm reading the fucking articles and not long enough and the nurse woman will think I am a chump. Stressful situation.
