  1. Spurs, in the CL places and playing well told to throw a pivotal game in their season. He has to be on a wind up
  2. If Spurs fans weren’t complete pricks I’d almost feel sorry for them having to travel here, climb to level 7 for a guaranteed annual pasting.
  3. I'd take it if it meant Klopp had to quit knowing his one PL title was being taken away from him.
  4. Could you not do that anyway? However they try to label it, they've accused you of fraud by it's very definition.
  5. Surely, you're all just looking forward to winning the Vanarama National League North title with a record win % of 100%, stealing the Johnston Paint Trophy, and probably still winning the FA Cup - despite the inevitable ban from European competitions?
  6. tbf is that not the shit there's a fraud investigation going on over?
  7. By the time the next general election rolls around the "young urban voters" will care less about foreign conflict and the long term issues surrounding the environment and more about the state of the economy - once they move out of their parents house and have to start paying their own rent/mortgage and bills etc. Cost of living starts to take more priority once you have to pay to live. They'll care more about the state of the NHS when they have to start making their own appointments to see the GP etc. Then the next minority of "young urban voters" will come along feeling equally as isolated because there isn't enough focus on the next conflict, or the next culture war topic. Priorities change over time, and the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Assuming the 'young' of 2024 will still give a shit about the same things in 2029 is mental. Starmer is playing the game correctly, we don't even know what Labour's priorities are yet and he's already being judged.
  8. Hasn't this already kind of happened? Didn't they already vote against stricter related party rules not that long ago or have I completely imagined it (which is very possible).
  9. I think the other proposal was to fall in line with UEFA which is capped at 70% so by comparison this looks much better.
  10. Satan: Welcome OJ, I am Lucifer. For your welcome gift you have a choice between a cactus and a baseball bat with nails in it. OJ: Ooh gifts, lovely. Wait, did you say Lucifer? Satan: Indeed. This is hell. We know what you did. OJ: I didn't do anything. Satan: You literally wrote a book about doing it. OJ: It was hypothetical. Satan: Mate, come on now. Anyway, you're here now so which will you choose. OJ: The bat, I guess. Satan: OK, bend over.
  11. Not entirely sure but based on 2022/23 85% of our turnover (£250m) was around £212m, we spent £187m on wages (which appear to be included) which would only leave £25m for additional players (inc. their wages, agent fees and transfer fees) assuming nothing else changes. We're also allowed to spend 85% of profit from player sales, plus the extra revenue from the CL games. In short, it's probably no better than it was previously, but it's slightly better than the UEFA model. Seems shite - we want the luxury tax or they can fuck off IMO.
  12. I don't think the bloke will be encountering God tbf.
