Well I hope nobody thinks that XI is going to walk the league like everyone's been predicting. Soft as shit up top, dubious defending, midfield completely bereft of ideas. Even Sels looked questionable. Only Ritchie really emerged with credit. Perez was especially horrible. It's time for fucking graft Ayoze lad, not cute flicks and pathetic tumbles. If you've not figured that out yet maybe it's better if you go now. On the other hand, reffing that atrocious is going to even out over the course of the season. We were definitely good value for the draw and should've had it.
-
Not as stonewall as the first one but that was another clear penalty. Football's a lot easier if you can use your hands.
-
Perez has been wretched, definitely need to take him off. Anita/Colback are the same dirge they were last season. Those players really can't be in any sort of attacking role if we're going to make any meaningful attempts to attack through the middle.
-
I might've scored that.
-
Blatant one that. Maybe the ref was scratching his arse, no way he was watching the play and didn't see that one. Just by the way it came off the defender you could tell it was handball.
-
That looked a red to me, aye. Two defenders coming to cover but it shouldn't matter, Perez was through on goal and that was a clear and cynical foul, no attempt or possibility to reach the ball.
-
Scousers should be used to someone who only turns up to work half the time.

Very good.

Send him back to Ajax with all the pieces of him that fell off. "I opened the box and it was like this."

Top bantz mate. You're meant to be 62 years old with that patter? Righto.

I agree with Gemmill. Didn't even realise it was from GoT until you lot started talking about it. Now I know who it is and everything. Fuck all of you.- 1745 replies

We are all tax dodgers?

Should've gone two years ago. Good riddance. Any mention of the fee amount?

Took one look at the training ground and buggered off.

He didn't have the bottle, like the rest of the spineless wankers. He had more class than them, so he looked better earlier on, but when it came to the business end of the season he lost his nerve as well. I could go either way on him. If he stays I'm OK. If he goes, I'm also OK with that.

Get to fuck. We should post guards on the Barrack Road to keep this fraud away. Enjoy San Injuriofalso or whatever it's called, don't come back.

Hazard falls on the ball, blatantly handballing it, then tosses it over the defenders' heads and gets nothing. Meanwhile the Wales players go in the book for the most marginal of contact. De Bruyne nearly screaming himself red to get someone a card. This game has a nastiness about it that suggests we might see some reds shown before long.

I'm sure we'll get some money back on Riviere, a French club will be willing to take a punt. Cisse should've been taken out back and shot years ago with Colo, both of them have been utter dirge since we came 5th. Plenty of other deadwood to be cleared out. Look at our retained list: All in bolded could/should go, along with one keeper from Krul/Elliott/Darlow.

The OFFICIAL Transfer Rumours Thread
acrossthepond replied to Anorthernsoul's topic in Newcastle Forum
He was so bad at the WC he should've had "Bruce" on the back of his shirt. It says a lot when a chump like him has won 48 caps for one of the world's great teams. He'll be the next Adriano, except Adriano actually did well in a top league before losing the plot. Six months in China before the contract is cancelled citing cultural differences, he'll fuck off back to Brazil and play for Sao Paolo or someone for a couple of years, another European club will take a punt on him, possibly in Italy, he'll be awful there when he even bothers to train, and then it'll be Brazil again. -
Good player, sad we've lost him. A few more games with Rafa (or as others have pointed out, a bit more effort from his useless teammates, most of whom were wearing black and white long before Townsend was, and are the ones without "loyalty" if anyone is) and he'd still be playing in the PL with us - fair play to him for not wanting to drop down a level after a good season. Playing for Pardew though...not the best career decision. I wish him luck but once that chancer gets his hands on him he'll be playing right back before long. (Also, Roy should've taken him to France, I've no doubt he'd have put in a better shift than the other wasters who got selected.)
-
Very pleased, good signing. Hopefully he will be like a Troy Deeney - grab loads in the championship and score his fair share back in the Premier League. His PL scoring record is not bad either even if you discount the sub appearances (we came back up with Shola, Lovenkrands, and Carroll as our strikers, all of whom had worse strike rates than Gayle.)

Is Belgium the new France in terms of cheap foreign signings? Not that Mitrovic and Mbemba were cheap, but at least they were good.- 38 replies
