  1. KSA is still on here, he's quiff, just like quiff was all the other Thompers clones (CabayeAye, desmondtutu, etc etc etc.)
  2. Still time to get my prediction in or have I missed the deadline?
  3. Every one of his PL appearances for us, yes. and any of his cup appearances that were televised - none comes to mind. I didn't see any of him at Coventry. And every time he's looked completely out of his depth. Understandable because he was young, and as I said, our youth coaching setup has been pretty bad in recent years. Like I said, I'd be happy to be wrong, although you seem to have already decided that I am.
  4. Couldn't get a game for Bournemouth. I can't say I'm wild about the prospect. But we definitely need a proper and well-rounded squad to compete at this level so I think he'll be a good addition one way or the other.
  5. More talent than Armstrong has, yes. At his skill level, size, weight, and age, I don't think he will ever become a PL-standard player. I admit I could be wrong. Our rubbish youth setup can't have been helping him either.
  6. Something else that I despise. When you are a professional footballer, you have your last name on the back of your shirt. There are certain times when both names are acceptable (ex. Roberto Carlos) and certain times when your first name is acceptable (ex. Jonas, Dele, some Turks and Japanese who culturally favour their first names.) That is it. No idiotic nicknames. No "Chicharito", no "Gabigol", no "Chucho", no "Kun", nothing. Some part of your name. End of.
  7. Can I just say that tattoos on lasses are, as a general rule, absolutely shit. I live in a pretty ghetto (here in the USA we say "ratchet") part of NYC, and every other woman who walks by is covered. Stupid script writing on shoulders, stars and kids' names on forearms and wrists, flowers and butterflies on their tits, God knows what else under their clothes. The men as well. Awful, awful stuff. I'd be embarrassed to leave the house. Worst of all are the kids' names IMO. My son is like the moon and stars to me, I love him more than my own life. But I don't need to get part of my body permanently stained to prove that to him or to anyone else.
  8. Another player who just isn't going to make it. Too short and lightweight. He'll be turning out for Preston or Wigan soon enough - of course, I'd love to be wrong.
  9. I think we're better off keeping him away from televised games, nee fucker will want him once they catch a glimpse of his huge lower lip and sulky quarter-effort.
  10. Janmaat is good, too good for this league, but as I said when the window first opened, anyone who was part of last season's non-event can go and I'll not be bothered.
  11. Mostly a bunch of useless wasters or treatment table heroes. Tiote's been shite for years, same with Cisse and Colo. De Jong, Thauvin, and Cabella have never been any good. Sissoko is Sissoko, I'd recommend a parade for the day he finally fucks off. Townsend was always going to leave, and has actually been adequately replaced by Ritchie. Krul would be a miss, I admit, same with Janmaat. And I don't know about you, but I was actually not bothered at all when Wijnaldum left. I don't think he would've hacked it in this league, to be quite honest. That XI is the same dogshit side that sent us down, minus the non-contributions of a couple of non-contributors like Siem and Thauvin. We could, and likely will lose all of them, and I'll still fancy us to be promoted.
  12. Class finish, Shearer would've been pleased with that. I reckon Gayle can and will get even better once Mitrovic is back in the starting XI. Hayden sounds like a good buy too.
  13. Clock's ticking on Pardew. With any luck his time will be up right around Christmastime - just like most turkeys.
  14. You're both right, that came off harsher towards Anita than I meant it. It's not his fault that he's rubbish. But it's an indictment of our transfer policy over the last 4-5 years. After all those years of listening to endless crap about value for money and wiping our noses and the horse and that cart and all that tiresome shit, we've spent and lost money on so many fucking plums it's unreal. Both de Jongs? Saivet? Ferreyra? Riviere? Doumbia? Marveaux? Gosling? Amalfitano? How many appearances do those clowns actually have between them all? Twenty? And the list actually goes on, there's Williamson and Gouffran and a new contract for Coloccini and Anita and and and. Sickening really. Nothing coming through from the youth teams either.
  15. A regular starter for our PL sides who now looks like fucking dirge in the Championship. We bang on about Sissoko being a lazy cunt and stealing a living but what has Anita been up to for the past 3 and a half years?
  16. Looks like it's bombing immensely. Awful port to PC, basically unplayable (but isn't that every game these days? They release what are essentially betas as a matter of course now), developers have outright lied about it being a multiplayer game, the list of complaints goes on.
  17. The part that kills me about Sissoko is that in his endless media interviews where he repeats over and over that he wants to leave, he always includes some sort of excuse for the fans about how he's worked so hard, and we have to understand that he wants to play at a higher level, blah blah fucking blah. He still doesn't get it. We actively want you to fuck off. We would like nothing better than for Real Madrid to buy you. The problem isn't on our end, it's that you are too shit to get a move to a top club.
  18. I'm going to say it - I don't think Aarons is ever going to make it. 18 appearances, and only 6 starts, out of a possible 85 games played since his debut according to .com. He definitely has talent but his injury record is going to see him end up like Vuckic.
  19. Both threads being roundly condemned tbf. It's not like we don't have our own morons starting ludicrous threads on here (Mike Ashley Football Genius, anyone?) Never heard of the bloke before he turned up at Sunderland and...what? Helped them finish 17th? And now they're getting 18m for him? They should be pleased, the same as we were to flog Wijnaldum.
  20. Assault, plain and simple. Gets worse every time you watch it, I cannot believe Martinez defended that hatchet job of a tackle or the scum who made it. I remember that match now. They scored a late winner from a handball. Everything about that game was terrible.
  21. Well I hope nobody thinks that XI is going to walk the league like everyone's been predicting. Soft as shit up top, dubious defending, midfield completely bereft of ideas. Even Sels looked questionable. Only Ritchie really emerged with credit. Perez was especially horrible. It's time for fucking graft Ayoze lad, not cute flicks and pathetic tumbles. If you've not figured that out yet maybe it's better if you go now. On the other hand, reffing that atrocious is going to even out over the course of the season. We were definitely good value for the draw and should've had it.
  22. Not as stonewall as the first one but that was another clear penalty. Football's a lot easier if you can use your hands.
  23. Perez has been wretched, definitely need to take him off. Anita/Colback are the same dirge they were last season. Those players really can't be in any sort of attacking role if we're going to make any meaningful attempts to attack through the middle.
