Last season was a false position for them too, brought about by Ange being genuinely shit at his job (but still good enough to beat Amorim's Man United to a trophy). A lot of the improvement Frank is gonna generate is not because he's amazing, it's because they should never have been that bad last season. I do think he's a good coach, but there's gonna be a lot of WOW look at what Thomas Frank is doing at Spurs reporting for a bloke who, in the main, is just getting the basics right.
