I’ve started The Last of Us 2 this weekend. I’ve got to Seattle, and done the first open play area, then navigated the first tunnel section and I’m at the theatre. Really enjoying it so far, which is no surprise since I loved the first one. Combat is still as stressful as the first one ( in the first one, combat was something you really avoided if at all possible, whereas this one seems to force it on you, but that might just be me still playing like a merc from Cyberpunk ). As in the first, the scenery and tiny details are amazing. Once I’ve done this, I’m treating myself to Ghost of Yotei which has just come out.

Only time I ever “got” Shakespeare was in Middle school when our (excellent) English teacher, Big Nige, split us into groups and gave us all a scene from various of his plays- we had to spend the first half of the lesson translating it in to Geordie, then perform it in the second half. I remember our group got a scene with Falstaff, who, once we’d figured out that he was a fucking mentalist, I absolutely insisted I played him in our performance Other than that, I can take it or leave it. I think way too much time is still spent on him at schools, to the detriment of other, far more relevant, modern British playwrights.
