I want to say Alexios is the name of the fella, but aye he's a tool - makes a great antagonist though tbf, whereas Kassandra was rubbish as the baddie. In fairness Kassandra is the canon version of the main character, so I guess that's why she's better - The lass version of Eivor was the canon version in Valhalla too but I thought she was insufferable so I switched to the bloke.

Aye it is. It's proper slow to get going like, and the game play is something you sort of have to deal with but the story is excellent, if not proper weird.

That's how it works for most asset sales, so I can't see it being any different tbh. Unless there is some specialist accounting treatment used in football that would differ. Effectively the difference between the net book value and proceeds of the sale is written off to the P&L at the point the sale is finalised - so a player with a NBV of £90m being sold for £40m would lead to a £50m hit in that year's accounts - . Which makes their approach even more stupid when you think about it as it was hinging on immediate success and/or somehow the value of these players (which were already inflated) increasing. They are quite literally going to be stuck with these players until the NBV is at a point it's worth selling for a lower fee which will be years down the line.

I think it's the pain of any dad with daughters tbf. It'll be sound, kids are all the same deep down - but are they fuck. You just end up with a clone of the mam and get ganged up on - but also gain a shadow that says hilarious and often quite offensive things about the appearance of someone stood in front of you in a queue at Sainsbury's.

That's what I said when we were having the second. Then we had a daughter and you realise that as a man you are so fucking out of your depth it's unreal. We had one of each so it became easier to agree on that being it. I was then instructed to get the snip which I had no issue with whatsoever, as I was fully done with having more kids . But even that doesn't stop the "I wish we'd had another one" coming up every once in a while, but it's fairly easily shot down with a bit of gentle gaslighting "well you shouldn't have made me get the snip then should you?"

Never finished Tsushima - I did enjoy it though and have it on the PS plus membership so can pick it back up whenever I fancy it. I have AC Mirage on the go at the minute, so far so good - not as good as Odyssey but definitely better than Valhalla. Not long finished Death Stranding which was a fucking masterpiece filled with Kojima weirdness and the ending nearly fucking killed me.
