Aye, don’t get me wrong, I really like a lot of the stuff Doves have done. Lost Souls particularly, but once Ms. F. pointed out the similarity, (and I think it’s just that one song), I couldn’t help but notice

Has he not seen Spinal Tap? Grohl has a terrible record with band mates and the whole staying alive bit. And now the dragging a talentless lass in to the band bit too. He’s only a hefty hockle away from Stonehenge too- I’d be shiting it if I was him. ( I bet Grohl has 11 on his amps)

On a mildly-related note, I had this on the other day and my daughter asked which album it was from. When I told she looked puzzled- she thought it was Foo Fighters. She has a point, mind.

Is he the “secret” band that everyone knew about last week?
-
Btw, there’s four of them…

Trophyshy! You dirty dog!

Yes More than any other aspect of us signing him, this is what gets me wet.

They’re studiously avoiding it, whilst posting zany japes like this https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/hilarious-nicknames-people-give-to-other-teams.1609979/ My god, I’m so glad I’m not a mackem

With a large number of “Adrenaline Tourism” things you have something known as perceived risk , where the participants think or feel like they’re in imminent danger, whereas the actual risk is negligible, due to the use of control measures ( harnesses, ropes, big fuck-off lumps of metal etc). So you could say something like the Edgewalk in Toronto has a Perceived Risk of 10, but an Actual Risk of 1-2. Space and Deep Sea, I’d want Perceived to be 1 and Actual 1. It looks like Oceangate were working on P & A being both 10

In other news, but a similarly ominous potential for fuckery and death… https://phys.org/news/2023-06-mission-dead-satellites-atmosphere.html A British firm plans to capture old satellites and drag them in to the atmosphere to burn up. Nothing can possibly go wrong here.

Took me a loop or two to realise that’s her teeth, not some lump of “unknown” substance hanging in her gob. Time to cut down on the bukkake vids. -

I love the hatred between them and Ladbaby. It’s a true war between icons of culture.

The thing was controlled by an off-brand gaming console controller. The ones that your kid is disappointed with if they get one in their Christmas stocking. They had no voice communication with the surface because the CEO didn’t like being disturbed on dives. It was made of carbon fibre, based on cf pressure vessels designed to withstand internal pressure, as opposed to the massive external pressure it would be dealing with-This is mental btw, how the fuck did they ever get to the point of taking punters down in it? The viewing window was only rated to 1500m, not the 4000m the wreck lies at. The only good thing really, is that the CEO insisted on leading every dive in it, so with him now Shippam’s spread for deep sea lobsters, he’s not going to kill more people with his insanely dangerous “projects”.
