A brief google will tell you that Seattle is in no danger from an eruption, but I remember reading about the lahars* that Rainier would produce ( and has in the past), and I’d be keeping a keen eye on it if I was living in Grungetown * massive rivers of mud and rocks made by all the snow melting.
