dbsweeney 0
last year at marienbad still vacant, post-modern bull on second viewing Never seen it, despite the 'classic' status it has, because I'm sure I'd feel the same way you do. It's what keeps me away from Godard, too. Watched Robocop for the first time in my life the other day. Despite seemingly only interested in tits and arse, you can tell that Paul Verhoven is a director with intelligence. He directed it with great wit, but it was a shame that the script held him back. Nevertheless, it was fun ... but Starship Troopers is more enjoyable and works better as (pretty bloody obvious) satire.

ChezGiven 0
Welcome to the Rileys. A bit bleak but misses out on being really touching through an implausible relationship. Well acted and not sure if Ridley's son was going for the 'social welfare US style' angle but if he was i liked it.

Who wants to watch a computer game for two hours? 4/10 Scott Pilgrim fans? Computer game fans? Scenes of a Sexual Nature - enjoyable, wish I was spending a summer afternoon on Hampstead Heath. Rather than lurking indoors in pissy raining Leeds.

Unstoppable - Pretty good disater film, cross between Towering Inferno and Speed 7.5/10 Kind Hearts And Coronets - The only Ealing film that I've seen that I thoroughly enjoyed 8/10 Death At A Funeral - A few laughs 5.5/
sammynb 3342
Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole first digital 3d movie I've seen and I'm not sure about it as a format. The movie itself was quite good for something aimed at bairns, took the nephew and didn't inspire me to scratch my eyes out because it was a kids movie. Ayatollah Hermione 13760
The new Harry Potter. It's 2 hours of an introduction basically. The 3 kids are marginally better actors now but that's invalidated by a sheer lack of Alan Rickman.

Billy Castell 0
Watched Irima Palm. Basically, Marianne Faithful plays a very middle class woman who ends up wanking off blokes in a dodgy soho strip club to raise money so her grandson can fly to America for a life saving operation. Not as porno as it sounds 7/10.
Christmas Tree 4669
Fly Away Home 7/10 Most of you should know the story about the little girl who finds some abandoned geese eggs and together with her dad, teaches the geese to migrate south by following their ultralight plane. Whats interting is...... 8 years after making this fim, Jeff daniels (the father) appeared in another film and had to film a sex scene with the girl who played his daughter in this film! (pre filming they both agreed not to mention the geese). Secondly, the young girl in the film is no other than Sookie Stackhouse of True Blood fame. Jimbo 172
Human Centipede Possibly the worst film I've ever seen, woeful acting, the crux of the movie is that a mad surgeon grafts three people together, arsehole to mouth, to form the infamous human centipede, there is a very thin plot that seemed more of an after-thought.
