Can't wait for the deluge of "Well, nobody fancies England so you never know, they might just pull it off" type quotes from everyone's favourite rent-a-quote gobshites after the draw is made.

Might as well give Leazes a crack at the presidency next.

Wonder if they actually know the internet exists. It's the government equivalent of David Brent saying that his staff won't remember being told about redundancies.

Giving someone grief for being a plonky while, clearly, being mortal drunk yourself is quite the statement. -
A pretty shambolic performance all in all and everyone involved needs to take the blame. Rafa going 4-4-2 has saw us on the end of two hidings so he needs to switch it back, especially considering we didn't even look like scoring with two strikers on the pitch. Watford basically outclassed us man for man; they were organised, skillful and, rightfully, smelled blood and pounced. I said it last week but it's a team that is desperately missing its captain. Clark is struggling badly at this level and Lejeune is either, adapting slowly, or fucking shite. Andre Gray is nowt special but his industry unsettled both of them to the point where our line was all over the shop. The full backs got no protection from the wingers and it's no surprise that the goals we conceded came from the flanks. Ritchie is calling for an offside that's never arriving while their full back has all the time in the world to pick Hughes out and then he has the cheek to shout at Yedlin. It was his fault and he should be an honest enough pro to realise he's been caught out for being a right lazy cunt on that occasion. Shelvey as captain brought back memories of Coloccini's rancid captaincy tbh; no rallying, no motivating, just a performance where he was desperate to play a Hollywood ball every time. Maybe because there was a 21 year old Spanish lad on the bench who is twice the player and he, rightfully, knows that his place in this side is under jeopardy if we get taken over. You can blame everyone for yesterday and they'll deserve it but it all goes back to the top. Our plan of exploiting the diagonals against a 3 man defence was sound IMO. Unfortunately, it fell apart because the players wearing the shirt, quite frankly, aren't good enough and the worrying aspect of it all is that I think Rafa is getting the best out of them. This is all they have when up against a well drilled, talented side. We can blame one man for leaving us woefully short of the talent and depth needed to avoid a relegation battle this season and, with any fucking luck at all, he'll have sold up by Christmas.

A group of us went to Mascalzone in Sandyford and they were accommodating of our one mate who is gets chinned by wheat. A bit out of the road but it's a very good Italian shop.

tbf, I think my post was the longest rhetorical question you can imagine since your post is bang on. I think the question should have been "How do top level clubs get fooled again and again by these agents?" -

You have to wonder what chairmen/decision makers think with some of the people they court like. Bilic is off of a pretty terrible 18 months with West Ham that's seen them completely stagnate, go on prolonged runs without wins and eventually get sacked to be replaced by DAVID MOYES, of all people. How many games have West Ham even won at that stadium? I assume they've played about 25/30 at this point and they must have lost half of them. So, why would anyone think that he's the right man to come in and sort things out? Likewise with Pardew; you get a good 12 months (if you're lucky) and then his system based around nicking wins by the simple law of averages falls in on itself and by all accounts, he's the next one they're approaching. It's complete laziness at best and dangerous ignorance at worst. -
