  1. I don't think fingering a 14yo girl is the answer. He's not a Sunderland player.

  5. I mentioned the other day how with Palace, Stoke, and West Ham scrapping over two places it’s hard to pick, that bloke almost makes me hope it’s Southampton.

  6. This the sort of pathetically mean spirited bullshit that makes this country what it is I dont condone spitting under any circumstances but ffs, wanting him to be sacked because you would be is puerile jealousy of the shittiest kind. He's not at work, he's been provoked. If the cunt in the other car had seen him walking down the street he'd have probably asked for his fuckin autograph. Am beginning to feel sorry for Carragher now.

  7. There needs to be a penalty for hitting £20k. How about WH4EVA tattooed across your chest, and you rip your shirt open to reveal it on the finish line. I'll donate again if we can make this happen.

  14. I took my Dad to this for a treat right next to their fans, they were fucking blotto, obviously been in the toon all day game meaningless but had a laugh. One got hoisted up on his pals shoulders running down the steps in the corner of the east stand/leazes risking hospitalisation where both fans were singing the Albert song at him as he was the spitting dabs of him.

  16. Class, they're a friendly bunch the Belgians. What a player Rob Lee was by the way, he had everything you could want in a midfielder. It was criminal he didn't get more caps for England.

  18. Some Cockney wanker on that sky show, (where journalists sit around a table with croissants and coffee strewn around and look deadly serious talking about whether Harry Kane will be better than Rooney for England and other such shite usually involving mourinho and Wenger), professed to be shocked how bad he was doing at WBA. He thought he'd do a great job DESPITE HAVING A LITTLE BIT OF A BAD SPELL AT PALACE. Do these fuckers live in some sort of bubble?

  21. Carragher deserves to be sacked for using the Kevin Spacey "my actions were not reflective of the real me" defence. On the contrary dickhead, it's how you behave in a moment like that that reveals the real you. Wind your window up and laugh ffs.

  26. Don't know if someone else posted that on here or if I saw that stat somewhere else at the weekend. But I think he makes a massive difference because he's a good defender who has improved under Benitez but also the way we play means that we're usually only going to nick a game by a goal so the margins are that little bit tighter making defence even more important for us. I think Clark and Lejeune are both better alongside him too. Dummett (as I think has been mentioned elsewhere) was also a miss when he was out and helps make the defence a lot tighter. Even a win in one of those games and we'd be all but safe now.

  27. He's been absolutely class this season has Rafa. There isn't a manager around that could do a better job in these circumstances. Not Guardiola, Pochettino, Klopp, Mourinho. No cunt.

  30. Aye but Lascelles is the player he is thanks in part to Rafa. If we get another decent young prospect for him to develop then who knows. Or two.

  31. rafa knows the craic with ashley now. the big question is whether the takeover will go through and, if it doesn't whether he's prepared to continue to operate under ashley's financial constraints. i suspect he might. he seems to have bought into the project and i sense he knows how much of a legend he'd be here if he were to ever manage to win a cup. turning us into a top half side under ashley would rank among his best achievements as a coach. he'd obviously like more money, but i imagine ashley will loosen the purse strings a fraction next summer if we stop up, not that he's ever likely to throw loads of money around.

  32. If we sold Lascelles for £50m, we could get a decent replacement with that. Probably two. I don't want to see the lad go but £50m, even in today's market, would be a good deal for us. Also, tbf to Ashley, if we end up signing the loan players we brought in at the end of the season (Slimani aside) then I'm tempted to argue that the 'try before you buy' deal is actually a good arrangement. We brought in good players in positions that we needed. Ashley just needs to keep hold of Rafa. If he can do that, I'm confident we'll be ok, short, medium and long term.

  33. I suppose it depends to some extent but realistically we should be able to improve assuming that a full year of the TV revenue being behind us is actually making us profitable. I can't think of any of our players that would be losing value at the moment, based on recent buys anyway, so any sales should be at profit also. I think the thing with Rafa is that he seems to be able to positively develop players in a way that managers like Pardew, Allardyce, the usual shite, don't seem to be able to. Those managers need to keep buying to improve. Rafa can improve just by continuing to work with his team. So while it will be a slow process, I think we can assume that players will be sold at profit from the first team, and that this means we are able to buy better 'base' players for Rafa to develop into an improvement on the ones we sold. Yeah it relies on the manager being here for the long term to be sustainable, but I think that has to be the hope.

  34. Aye, £15k and you can plant a corner flag on the finish line. Edit: Too fucking slow again.

  35. I would argue that it needs to be a pitch invasion with a relocation of the corner flag. It's the West Ham way, after all.

  39. It was fun taking the lad through the strawberry trying to find the fella with tickets offered on here - he’d seen nowt like it. Found the bloke and he would only take 40 of the 60 odd face value, so the boy got a scarf hoyed into the bargain. Cheers Blackpool fan! ill have to take the boy more often. Second game and he’s on a 6 nowt aggregate. Loved the effort put in and a bizarrely thrilling relief to be excited about our flair at times. Predicted Kennedy to score so kid thinks I know about football. sat right next to away fans, all peaky blinder caps and “sack the cunt”. any spares, let me know lads....
