  9. There was one teacher in our year who got all sorts of abuse. Kids mashing grapes into the carpet, kicking tables into a fan that was in the corner, that sort of thing. Nothing tops them stapling her sandwich to the ceiling when she left the room though.

  11. Long time Labour voters who don’t vote for Labour to simply rally against the Tories are complicit to these evil cunts staying in control tbh.

  22. @ewerk You had Chairman's Reserve before? It's a lovely drop and it would be up your street I think. It's St Lucian but very similar in style to the rums you get from Barbados. It's very good value anyway but Sainsbury's and Amazon Prime both have a couple of quid at the minute. Can't go wrong for £18. It's tropically aged for 5 years (which equates to about 10-15 years ageing in a more temperate climate). Good enough to sip but makes for a very affordable mixer, especially at that price.

  28. I've thought for a while he must secretly know he hasn't got much chance of getting a majority. I think, given the state of the government, yesterday's results pretty much confirmed that. I didn't vote because I didn't feel I could support someone any more who isn't going to beat the Tories and a Labour vote would essentially be a sign of approval. Like yourself I would still vote Labour in a GE but it really is time to look elsewhere. I'm not even talking about policy, it's about him now. I have a bit of time for the bloke and I think he's decent and principled but, probably more than anything else in terms of what holds him back, he lacks the sort of pragmatism required for leadership whether that be an inability or lack of desire to really to after the government when the opportunity arises or whatever. It's almost unthinkable what another term after this one of the Tories in charge could do for this country in the long run.

  36. Had a look on there and there just has to be a load of Newcastle fans on there taking the piss because the only other conclusion is there is a fair few who are borderline unhinged. WTF is the 'I'm in the mood to chat with some Mags' thread about? Anyway, when they call the Sunderland Echo a 'mag rag' you know the lunatics have truly taken over the asylum. P.S. Looking forward to seeing a t shirt or an avatar with Marlon Brando/Godfather photoshopped with 'the Don'. Even funnier when they realise they've got fucking Boycie as an owner rather than an international cabal of MLFs with more money than sense.

  37. Depends whether they come straight back up to the Championship or not. If they struggle next season then maybe. Or maybe they'll be apathetic like they were this season. But at least they didn't get behind the team and the manager like those Mags do.

  38. Surely Sunderland fans must have their own chapter in Psychiatric text books now. Their ability to completely dismiss any truth they don't like and blame it on the mysterious Geordie conspiracy to keep them down surely deserves a syndrome named after it.
