  1. 18 cans of Stella for a tenner at Asda. Nipped in for something else on Wed but would've been rude not to. (Not a massive Stella fan but when the price is right.....)

  3. Always makes me laugh to consider that Garth Crooks has been there for longer than anyone and still hasn’t graduated past Final Score and writing shite to fill space on the website.

  5. Disregard. Rafa has them sussed and the players are working their bollocks off for the plan.

  6. Reckon we might get warmed up here since they're loaded with pace and we...aren't. If we can score in the first half, we might get something but I'm hardly confident with Lejeune out, clumsy midfielders and Yedlin defending like a cat chasing a laser pen, I think we'll properly struggle.

  16. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/apr/12/nigel-farage-brexit-party-comeback-heroics He is now the frontman for something called the Brexit party, which – in the usual way of these things – was led until last month by a Catherine Blaiklock, before she was forced to resign after some unfortunate social media posts were unearthed. Decidedly upbeat this morning, Farage would only refer to this episode as “teething difficulties”, a metaphor which powerfully recalls that exhausting period in an infant’s development when you’re up half the night with it telling you Islam means submission to rapists. Shhhh, little one. Back to sleep now.

  22. I stand by that vote actually, because it was clear as day that many Remain voters backed Labour because their position was actually pretty nebulous, and that suppressing a Tory majority was the only chance we stood of achieving anything. It's by virtue of the remainer rally to Labour that we're still in the game at all. But what it wasn't, was an indication that 80% of people wanted Brexit.

  23. It does need co-ordination, but the best vehicle to mobilise behind in theory is Labour and they remain totally clouded on their actual preference. I'm not voting for them again only to see a renewed narrative for "80% of people voting for Brexit backing parties". If Labour come out unequivocally for PV2, then they're the best bet for making the point. If they don't then Remainers need to abandon them entirely - the problem is rallying people around something else, and getting the message out widely enough.

  26. Saw this the other day, not ashamed to say that I thought it was peak era Cruyff for Holland... Last seen @ SJP toiling to make an impression during Fergies first full season for Manu, Nov 1987 0-0. He got 3 u21 caps and that was it. Passed away a few years ago due to alcohol issues. RIP Ralphy 👍

  30. May is the fucking pits. Any normal person would be humiliated by last night's proceedings and would turn up today with some humility and a changed perspective on what's required to get this sorted. This cunt is just stood in Parliament still insisting that the best thing for everyone to do would be to agree her deal. She is the absolute dregs.
