This is just what we needed to lift spirits inside and outside the stadium. Even if some of these players don't fully live up to expectations, we're made a positive move at the time when it was needed most and it will be sure to improve morale. Glad Ashley allowed those at the club responsible for bringing players in to go and sign up who they wanted, when he could have easily waited for the contracts to run down. It could well be that it's cheaper to buy now than wait until the summer. We sign them now for 'nominal' fees, we wait until the summer and they're likely to have more options and more time to drive up their wages.
