  1. I mean according to Bob Moncur Bruce had them doing something called ‘running’ in preseason so you can’t say that the man isn’t up to date with all the latest fitness techniques.

  4. it all defies any kind of logic or reason. there's absolutely fuck all to suggest from his previous clubs that an outlay of a fraction of £40m (i know) was warranted. no compettition for his signature. who the fuck scouted him? was it nickson? has he been sacked? seriously, what would be his sell on value as it stands? we would've been infinitely better off going for lewis grabban, and i'm not even slightly taking the piss.

  5. Essembee isn't noted for his open-minded approach to discussion and can be obsessive (in a borderline psychotic way) about certain points. I think the rest of us get the point you're making.

  6. You still going to the match?! It's no wonder you're always in a huff.

  8. Do the preceding 11/12 years of Ashley’s tenure not bother you too much? I can assess results in isolation, that’s simple. The bigger picture is we’re no longer a sporting institution as such, we’re the marketing arm of sports direct.com. That’s why increasing numbers can take some solace from the drivel we’re served up. We don’t really exist as a club anymore. Rafa kept this point at bay for three seasons but it was always going to happen from the moment he left.

  9. Keeping in mind our fixtures in January the gap between us and the relegation places will be a lot smaller. I wonder if they will still compare this season’s points tally to last year’s when it isn’t favourable to Bruce anymore.

  10. Impressive display of non-cowardice from Schär there. He'll be out for longer because of it but at least he's not a coward, unlike our other cowardly players who are cowards.

  14. i'm sure somewhere deep in the bowels of the world wide web there's some glowing danish scouting reports on frank pingel. and rightly so, he had the enviable goal ratio of 1 in 14

  16. It’s easy to say he doesn’t have an end product but he doesn’t even have a beginning product.

  17. Absolutely. People have a go at him for just seeing put his contract but he’s a very ordinary player that was signed not with an eye to what he added to the team but because of his age and his being out of contract, ie it’s exactly what the owner deserves for his ‘rediculous’ transfer policy

  18. Of course if was a bloody mistake, the question is why would a very good player make what isn't even a school boy error because they know better. So no it wasn't a simple mistake, it was literally one of the worst things you can do in your own half. And if you don't get why a player wouldn't be like, hey boss you know how you've incompetently played me too much after a major injury? Well I'm knackered in mind and body and want off even though I'm not actually injured and you have fuck all on the bench to replace me with, then I can't help you. And lastly, kicking the ball across your own box has fuck all to do with cowardice.

  23. That attempt at a shot by Joelinton ffs. In fact most of our shots recently have been like that, weak as piss and mis hit, it’s almost like the training methods have declined recently. The amount of injured players also originates from the shite training. Playing Lejuene this often after injury is mental and it’s finally cost us. We’ve just have no real tactic since ASM was injured.

  28. Dubravka Schar Fernandez Lejune Willems Hayden SLongstaff Shelvey Almiron Muto Carroll Pick holes in this line-up, based on all being available Muto is energetic and should get a start, I think he is under-estimated. Nonscoringjoelintonthedud should be benched. I think we should go 4-4-2 against Leicester. We know Schar & Willems can make attacking runs. Will be interesting to see Brucey's starting lineup for this match.
